How it works

You upload a supplier's PDF catalog. You get back a file your Verskis shop can import, with every product translated into Lithuanian.

The five steps

  1. Upload

Add a supplier PDF catalog in English or German.

    • Digital (text-based) PDFs; scanned pages are not read
    • The original file is kept unchanged as evidence
    • A whole catalog or a few pages, as one PDF
  2. Extract

We read every product: code, name, description, technical data and photo.

    • Codes are read from the page layout, tables and headings
    • Original images are kept as they are in the catalog
    • Our algorithm recognises accessory codes and keeps them apart from products.
  3. Review

Only the uncertain items need your attention.

    • Uncertain codes are listed for review, not guessed
    • You confirm or reject them in the app
    • Nothing uncertain reaches the import file on its own
  4. Translate

Product text is translated into Lithuanian and SEO fields are written.

    • From English or German into Lithuanian
    • An SEO title and description for every product
    • Codes, models, voltages, thread sizes and dimensions are locked
  5. Export

Download Verskis XML or Excel for your shop's import.

    • XML is validated against the Verskis import schema
    • Products are imported hidden, so you publish them when ready
    • No category, price or image is invented

What you get for each product

  • Product code, as printed in the catalog
  • Product name in Lithuanian
  • Description in Lithuanian
  • Technical data
  • Original product photos
  • SEO title
  • SEO description
  • Shared text for product families, where the catalog has it

What you upload

PDF catalogs from your suppliers, in English or German. The PDF must contain text; scanned pages are not read.

What you download

A Verskis XML file or an Excel file for import, plus the product images. The files are meant for new products: importing codes that already exist in your shop may change those products.

Why there is a review step

Supplier catalogs are full of model names that look like product codes — DM-40, DM-60. Our algorithm tells them apart: only product codes go into the file, and anything it is unsure about waits for your review.

Start with one catalog

Upload a supplier PDF and see what was found before anything is exported.
